I had surgery at the old ㅎㅇㅌ Dental Clinic where that director, recently controversial as ㅌㅁ Dental Clinic, used to work. I had slight malocclusion, but it wasn’t severe, and I had TMJ issues, so this was back when I was wearing a jaw correction appliance at a university hospital. A friend with TMJ issues who had asked me about the jaw correction appliance at the time said their TMJ problems disappeared after surgery, and their face had been square but became very small. I was tempted by various things and paid a lot of money for it. After that, a side effect where the chin area looked pinched? started showing around 3 to 4 years later. Westerners sometimes have vertical creases in the chin fat, right? Mine is horizontal. Because they set the chin inward, they put bone on the front of the chin to prevent it from looking like a retruded chin. I think that was overcorrected. It didn’t show when I smiled, so I just left it alone. This side effect started gradually from year 2 and became noticeable after about 3 to 4 years, and by then that dental clinic was a mess. They were busy with people all protesting. I had to wait forever. That director went somewhere else and caused the same kind of trouble again. Apparently now he’s a professor in the acting department at some art university. Honestly, when I saw that, I wondered if he was a psychopath. He’s not even a specialist in that field. Does he just do whatever he wants with money? That part is really strange. Anyway, if you’re going to have double-jaw surgery, I’d recommend a university hospital. With private clinics, it seems like if an accident happens, they can just take down the sign and put up a different sign somewhere else. Functionally, I currently don’t have any major problems, and my TMJ has also improved, so I’m satisfied.
