Cheekbone Surgery Reviews@cheekbone-review

Day 6 review of long-curve T-osteotomy and anterior cheekbone implants

I had long-curve T-osteotomy and anterior cheekbone implant surgery.

On day 1, I really thought I was going to die ㅠ I had seen other reviews saying it was hard, but experiencing it myself.. It hurt so much, my nose was blocked, and whenever I tried to fall asleep, phlegm kept me from sleeping and woke me up,,, I think I struggled a lot until days 1 and 2. The swelling kept increasing until days 3-4, and after that it seems to be going down little by little. I have to go to work on day 13, so I’m doing everything that’s supposed to be good for swelling. Danggui Suxan, Elas-A, walking, and so on. I’m doing them, but I can’t compare with when I don’t take these medicines, so I’m not sure if they help with swelling ㅠㅠ The medicine costs a lot too,  What I was most worried about was swelling, but when I sleep and wake up, it seems visibly reduced. I wanted a natural line, and during the consultation right before surgery I showed photos of celebrities like Son Na-eun and Kim Go-eun. I had it done at ㄴㅈㅎ, and the director was really good with the preoperative consultation for setting the line. I prepared photos in advance and kept appealing for the direction I wanted, and we had quite a long consultation while talking about what kind of result each surgical approach would produce. Right now my face is bumpy, so I don’t know exactly whether the line came out the way I wanted, but from the faint line I can see, it seems to have come out natural yet with a clear change. I was hospitalized and received treatment, and the nurses were really, really kind. The consultant was also kind and kept looking after me.. On the night of day 1, I was in so much pain that I called the nurses several times and bothered them, but they still took good care of me without seeming annoyed. For now I’m satisfied with everything, but what worries me is whether I’ll be able to go to work without problems on day 13 ㅠㅠ Also, when I first consulted at the hospital, they recommended 3 procedures, but I thought my cheekbones didn’t need to be done, so I only did 2 procedures. But after doing only 2, my cheekbones seem to stand out more. I’m not sure if it’s because the swelling makes everything bumpy,, or because I only did 2 procedures, but I’m worried that maybe I should have done all 3. And since my midface is sunken, I had anterior cheekbone implants placed, 3 mm on one side and 4 mm on the other, but I’m also worried that the effect may be too subtle. The part I’m most satisfied with right now is that my face definitely became slimmer, and since I have a normal occlusion with a protruding chin, I had the chin tip set back by 5 mm. I was very worried because some people said setback surgery made them look like they had a retruded chin, but I’m very satisfied because it seems to have gone in nicely and just the right amount. The weather is hot and I’m all over the place, so the writing is disorganized haha I’ll leave a more organized review next time haha
