These days I spend a really long time looking in the mirror lol Does everyone do this after surgery? lol After cheekbone reduction surgery, I’ve been getting a lot of compliments that my overall impression looks better and softer, so I started thinking I’m glad I had the surgery lol Now, sensation and opening my mouth are much more comfortable than before, and I can eat hard foods pretty well too lol Up until last month, there was still this feeling of awkwardness lol, but now it feels completely like my own face? lol And since I’m getting a lot of compliments, I’ve gained a lot of confidence and I think my personality has changed a lot too lol As you can tell from the before photo, my cheekbones were really on the large side lol Because of that, my face looked kind of big and old-fashioned, I guess? Since there were a lot of limits on hairstyles too, it was pretty stressful lol Since no one around me had done it, until I got the surgery I really thought about it a lot and searched online and visited clinics really hard lol Since it’s a major surgery, I thought safety was important, so I mainly looked into large hospitals, and I carefully looked into things like aftercare and the service side? I researched those areas hard too and decided on surgery lol After getting the surgery, I really thought it was so hard many times, but now the swelling has gone down a lot, it’s settling into place, and a lot of the discomfort has disappeared, so I really feel like I’m glad I had it done lol Honestly, even now I’m still so amazed that the cheekbone area has gone inward, so I touch it sometimes lol I’m not the only one who does this, right?? lol
