Revision surgery isn’t different;; The nasal cotton packing and splint are still stuffy, annoying, and bothersome even doing them again. Still, with my first surgery, I had it right before it got hot, so it felt suffocating, but these days the weather is extremely cold, so maybe it’s at least a little better than back then...? The autologous costal cartilage keeps feeling tight and painful, but right after surgery, that’s normal for everyone, right? Anyone here who had it done at DI? About how long does it take for the pain to get a bit better? I think my nose will get better once the cotton is removed, but this feels more painful right now.
