Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

When looking for an epicanthoplasty restoration clinic, how to know whether it suits you…

First, the most important thing is whether you want to return to your original epicanthoplasty state from the past, or whether you want to return to a different eye shape. Your goal has to be clear.

Depending on that, the clinic choice changes.

That is because each clinic has a different surgical method.

0. Remember the inner corner area of your current eye shape well.

1. First, look at your epicanthoplasty in the mirror and predict how much you want to reduce it. / Try editing photos too. (In the “BeautyPlus” app, you can roughly predict it by touching the inner-corner/epicanthoplasty area using the stretch/shrink function.)

2. Set what kind of epicanthoplasty reconstruction you want to become (whether the issue is scarring, whether too much lacrimal caruncle is showing, whether others think it is fine but only you dislike it and want a very subtle reconstruction, whether you dislike the inner-corner shape, etc.). There will be many different stories.

*** Among these, I was a case where others thought it was fine but I personally did not like it. + My impression changed because of the inner-corner shape, and I needed a very subtle reconstruction. So I was a case that was refused by many clinics.

3. And what you need to do is look at many photos. > You need to look in a balanced way at these three things: photos of clients whose current eyes are similar to yours, or the inner-corner shape you want, and if you want a subtle reconstruction, the degree of subtle reconstruction. Go into every clinic blog and cafe and check all the photos.

4. Clinics to filter out -> This is a subjective opinion, but... clinics that do not do internal reconstruction (they say it can open up), clinics that do not match your style. Even if the reviews are good. Whether the reviews are good or not, filter them out. If it does not fit your style, there is no point in doing epicanthoplasty restoration. Here, “your style” means cases such as an epicanthoplasty where the lacrimal caruncle shows a lot, or an epicanthoplasty with severe scarring, but when you look at the clinic’s after photos, the results are not to your liking, etc. Also, cases where the clinic’s surgical method does not match the eyes you want. In that case, just filter it out... This is a case that has nothing to do with whether the doctor is good or bad. Because the surgical method does not suit you, the epicanthoplasty result you want will not come out.

5. You like it, but there are parts you somewhat dislike. It passes everything in your priority settings, but there is some tiny part you do not like. -> You must reach an agreement about this through consultation. If the doctor says okay and that they can resolve it, then you can do it.

6. Lastly, going in person for consultations is the only answer..... There may be a clinic you like that unexpectedly refuses you, and there may be a clinic that says you can only get this much effect. Sometimes opinions come out that are different from your own analysis. Other people’s reviews are important too, but the most important thing is knowing your own style. If you know it, find a clinic that matches that style, go around for consultations, and choose the best clinic among them..

There are people who do a lot of epicanthoplasty restoration surgery too, so I’m posting this in case it helps.
