I had it done at ㅇㄴㅇ Dental Clinic in Apgujeong At first I saw it on Facebook and went to ㅌㅁ Dental Clinic for a consultation, and I think they asked for a 100,000 won consultation fee and 7.5 million won.. I couldn't get the consultation fee back... sob
So I went to ㅇㄴㅇ in Apgujeong for another consultation after all, and I did it for a total of 3.6 million won The reason I first started orthodontic treatment was that one of my upper teeth was set inward, so when I took photos only that tooth looked small, and my lower teeth were a bit crooked. Looking at my dad's teeth, they became more misaligned with age, so I decided to start. My condition was clear aligners no matter what I work in the service industry, so I really couldn't do anything visible
Without extractions, the upper teeth took 2 months and the lower teeth took 6 months I visited the dental clinic twice a month: once to take impressions and once to receive the appliance But even that got bothersome, so there were times I took impressions once and received the appliance by delivery.. haha^^; Still, I went to the dental clinic once a month, and I always wore the aligners except when eating, more than 20 hours a day! Even after finishing orthodontic treatment, the part where something was attached to the lower canine did not rotate back perfectly, but it didn't look misaligned from the front, and even if we continued further, they said clear aligners had their limits Even so, compared to before, it became much straighter, so I said I was satisfied with this level and we finished by mutual agreement I received gum contouring as a service. Like Lee Hyori, my gums showed a bit when I smiled, but after they lightly removed some with a laser, I became confident in my smile Up through the service, I was completely very satisfied! I liked it so much, and everything proceeded very perfectly and smoothly
The orthodontic treatment ended in 2015, and last year, meaning October 2017, while eating marinated crab, two of the retainers attached to the back came off, so I went right away the next day and had them reattached. Recently, whenever I ate meat, meat kept getting stuck between my teeth, so I looked and saw that a gap of about 1 mm had formed between the tooth where the retainer was reattached and the tooth next to itㅜ I visited the dental clinic again, and the clinic said it was because my gums had no strength.. But when I looked it up, they said that if the gums are weak, the gap forms in a triangular shape, but mine formed in a straight line I don't smoke or drink, I brush my teeth 3 times a day, and I heard gargles are not good, so I don't use them It's not like I neglect care, but they kept talking as if I had done something wrong, as if my gums were at fault, as if everything was my fault, so there was a bit of an argument at first My personal thought was that because the retainer had been attached incorrectly, a gap gradually formed In the end, the dental clinic said there is something called a removable retainer, and that it helps narrow the space between the teeth. They said it is normally 300,000 won but they would do it for 100,000 won, so I paid and left, but I was upset too The reason I chose clear aligners in the first place was that I hated anything visible, but now I had to do a full metal appliance again.... So I went around to two more orthodontic dental clinics, and those clinics also said ambiguously that it might not be a gum issue and might be because the retainer was attached incorrectly.. And even if the dental clinic did something wrong, they would somehow say it wasn't their fault. I know well because I also work in the service industry Anyway, other dental clinics also said it was not necessarily all my fault, so I went back and said no matter how much I thought about it, I couldn't do anything unless it was clear aligners again, and there was some friction again.. The doctor in charge who treated me speaks very bluntly, so I got a bit annoyed too, and I did act like a difficult customer, but in the end I am wearing a metal appliance..... They said it would close in 2 weeks, so I am just enduring it for 2 weeks I attached all the photos I have In the last photo, because of saliva, the space looks less open, but there was a space of about 1 mm
To summarize, The orthodontic treatment went very well and I was satisfied, but for some reason, 3 years after finishing treatment, the tooth right next to where the retainer came off opened up, so I am undergoing retreatment. There was some conflict with the doctor in charge, but the consultation manager mediated well, so it was resolved smoothly? From the dental clinic's position, of course they say it is not the clinic's fault, and I also think it is not my fault The dental clinic also says a case like mine is uncommon, and since it seems it will be resolved by my wearing the metal appliance, I am wearing it It has now been almost 2 weeks, and for now the space is gone. If it does not open again even after reconnecting the retainer attached behind the teeth, I would recommend it! I really like and am satisfied with the consultation manager and staff
