I booked my appointment for just one week after the consultation.. Well.. it didn’t feel real until I went into the operating room lol. Once I actually lay down, I froze from nerves, and the nurse and the anesthesiologist told me to relax and that it would be okay... It was just one simple sentence, but for me, who had come alone for surgery, it was comforting... I thought of it as taking a nap, and that’s where my memory of the operating room ends. After I came to in the hospital room, I practiced breathing and used cold packs. More than pain, the hardest part was the phlegm after anesthesia, and everything else was just bearable. After staying hospitalized for one day, I was discharged and went to an acquaintance’s place because I live outside the city!! The swelling puffed up like a pufferfish until day 4, then started going down quickly from day 5. From now on, it’s a fight with swelling!! And the war with food begins lol. But what’s this... By day 7 it had gone way down, and today, day 9, I could go out with light makeup and didn’t need a mask. My acquaintances are making a fuss, saying it just looks like I gained a tiny bit of weight but I still look pretty. I know well from joining online communities and reading lots of information that if the surgery is accurate and fast, the swelling, bruising, and so on don’t last long.. Other than strong muscle tightness around day 4, I haven’t had any abnormal symptoms or side effects. I think I’ll know more after watching it a bit longer~^-^ My mouth opens enough for one and a half fingers, and from one week after surgery I started eating loach soup broth with rice porridge lol, seasoned fries, ground fruit, egg-soaked toast with sliced bread, squid rings lolol. Ah, I’m eating all the salty things now. I really couldn’t keep eating porridgeㅠㅠㅠ For brushing my teeth, I use a dog toothbrush.. This is seriously amazing lol. While brushing, I naturally practice opening my jaw, and while gargling, I practice moving my cheek muscles. I run for 40 minutes a day, morning and evening, and that’s about it lolol. Ah, additionally, starting 2 hours after waking from anesthesia, I separately took an ampoule to reduce swelling. I think that helped a lot!! ●I’ll only send the hospital information by private message, and I’ll add the rest in writing. The swelling ampoule is Elas A (7,000 won each, expensiveㅠㅠ). I mixed it with pumpkin juice and took one on an empty stomach at dawn, then took another one 12 hours later. I’m on day 10 of taking it, and I’m thinking of taking it for another 10 days! Starting on day 6, I just slept lying down as usual with one pillow. I used the compression band for 5 days and then stopped. Whether you use the compression band or not has nothing to do with whether the skin sags. I felt you just need to focus on managing swelling. Since swelling goes down well when you move your body and circulation improves, and I thought lymphatic circulation also needed to work well, I took the ampoules separately, and the swelling was controlled really well! Also, I’m satisfied because the line came out nicely. Since the front cheekbones are still slightly there, when I smile it gives a peach-shaped look. I was worried I might end up looking like a wide flat-screen TV.. Well.. they made it pretty on their own lol. My skin bruises easily, but only a bit of yellowish bruising appeared, and it disappeared after about 5 days. My skin doesn’t recover quickly either. I’m the type whose wounds last a long time lol, so I was really concerned about swelling. Looking at other reviews, some people had swelling that lasted more than 2 months! Please understand if I can’t reply quickly. After surgery, now that I can live normally, I don’t come in often lol.
