1. Bring three photos of eyes you want and three photos of eyes you dislike. 2. Avoid factory-style clinics. (If they’re too busy, I feel they can’t examine you with enough care and their concentration may be affected—just my personal opinion.) 3. Find a place that provides aftercare. (It reduces the psychological burden.) 4. The more excessive eye surgery is, the greater the risk. Show photos of what is realistically possible for your own eyes as much as possible. (You’ll know whether it’s possible for you.) Be especially careful about overcorrection during eye-shape correction; I’ve heard there are many complications. 5. Write down an explanation of the eyes you want in your notes and say it as written. Be as specific as possible, such as saying you would like the line to be shaped this way from the inner corner to the outer corner. 6. You need to find a meticulous doctor. That way the symmetry will match well and the result will come close to the eyes you want. (If the doctor answers mechanically during the consultation, move on.) 7. Visit at least four clinics. During consultations, you’ll learn whether you need incisional or non-incisional surgery. 8. When you look at reviews on beauty apps or other apps, you can see the styles doctors prefer. Choose a clinic that has many eye shapes you want among its reviews. 9. Don’t blindly trust comments that occasionally appear in online communities saying that one place or another is good. Look at reviews and choose yourself where to consult. 10. Go to a place with an anesthesiologist. 11. If you look at your eyelid lines immediately after surgery, you can tell whether it went well or badly. If the lines are symmetrical, swelling may later subside differently and make them look asymmetrical, but don’t worry. They eventually return to symmetry. I wish everyone good luck, and I hope this helps even a little. If you have questions, ask me. I’ll answer as far as I know.
