I had full-face fat grafting and chin liposuction at TL Plastic Surgery. I paid 2.3 million won for both. They included 1 session of jaw Botox, 1 session of salivary gland Botox, 1 session of Botox above the eyebrows, and 1 fat-dissolving injection as services.
As for the results, I’m dissatisfied with the fat grafting except for my forehead, and I’m very satisfied with the liposuction.
Still, personally, I don’t want to recommend this hospital.
During the first round, after surgery there was a service session for massage? on the liposuction area, and when I told them about the issue that my mouth only opened to one side, they added 3 more sessions. So I received a total of 4 sessions, once a week. Each time I went, the doctor came to check my progress, and the nurses were kind too.
The problem was during the second round. For the second round, my period suddenly started the day before surgery, so I contacted the consultant to ask if it was okay, but there was no reply. There was still no contact by the day of surgery, so I called the hospital, and they said the consultant had taken a somewhat long vacation. So I consulted with the hospital and postponed the surgery date. Then on the day of surgery, when I went to the hospital, the consultant wasn’t there. I received a brief explanation from another consultant and signed the consent form. But anyone who has been to TL would know that ads keep playing on the TV in the waiting area, and in the fat grafting ad, it says something like they insert fat by size so it won’t be lumpy. I suddenly became curious about that part, so while signing the consent form I asked if it was true that only this hospital had that technology, but that consultant didn’t understand what I meant. So I said, isn’t that what you’re advertising outside? And she said that was just an explanation, not some different kind of technology. I was scheduled for the second surgery that very day, and the first round was already done, so it felt like I’d been blindsided haha. Then I lay down on the operating table, and the nurse asked, “You know the consultant has changed, right?” Of course, the consultant isn’t the one doing the surgery, but I chose the hospital because of the previous consultant, so it felt like I’d been deceived. I suddenly became extremely anxious and dumbfounded...
Originally, I wanted undereye fat repositioning, but I decided on fat grafting based on the recommendation of the hospital and my mom. Even here, during the first consultation they said my undereye area would brighten to some extent, but on the day of the first surgery they said that if looking only at the undereye area, I couldn’t get a satisfying result, so I was very flustered then too.
I don’t know if I’m being too sensitive... Still, I feel they lacked attention to detail, so it feels somewhat insufficient. Personally, I don’t want to recommend it.
