Before <Before surgery><Next day><2 weeks><1 month>I did have double eyelids, but they were uneven, and one double eyelid kept coming undone. I didn’t have much fat in my eyelids, and my epicanthal folds weren’t severe, so I had it done thinking of it as just correcting the line with buried sutures. I heard buried sutures come undone a lot, so I did partial buried sutures. I asked the director about whether it would be better to add other things, and I decided because I was tempted when he said that just making one precise line on my current eyes and doing a little ptosis correction would be enough!
Before local anesthesia, you fall asleep briefly, right? By the time I came to, the surgery was already underway. I think the surgery proceeded while checking the line from time to time. Maybe because it was made slightly as an outline, my eyes weren’t small before surgery, but after surgery they definitely got bigger hehe. And should I say that somehow my eye-opening strength really got stronger? My eyelids used to slightly cover my pupils, but now my eyes open wide in surprise lololololol
My friends say all they can see on my face is my eyes... I got huge eyes. Maybe because it was partial buried sutures, compared with friends who had incisions, I think I had less swelling and bruising too~ It definitely felt like it settled quickly.
The consultation with the consultant was just okay, but the director consulted with me very meticulously, so I decided on this clinic. But one thing that’s a little disappointing is that now that my eyes are round and clear, I find myself thinking it would be nice if the outer corners of my eyes were slightly lowered.. Is it lower canthoplasty? I’m wondering whether I need to add that.. but I’m satisfied with my current eyes, so I’m only thinking about it for now hehe.
