After fat removal and removing the buried suture method, one of my eyes became strange. The buried sutures were all removed, but the incision made when taking out the threads and the partial-incision line became adhered, so every time I look in the mirror, my eyes make me honestly want to die. At the original clinic, they said they would try releasing the adhesions, but they said it isn’t easy and that it can re-adhere, and their experience is 1 year and a half.? It’s short. The new clinic I went to for a consultation does a lot of revision surgeries and has a long career, but they said they can’t guarantee the shape, they won’t know until they try, they don’t know how it will turn out, and that it’s just trying. They spoke roughly like that, so I got scared and just left. Still, would someone with a lot of experience release the adhesions well, or would the person who originally did my eyes know better because they know my eye shape and did the surgery before? I’ve been torn between the two for 3 weeks, so please, I really need a lot of opinions…. I’m twenty years old, I don’t want to put a knife to myself again, and living feels scary

웅 Hey, I feel like I’ve seen your posts before, but you can’t go back to how it was before. Especially if you want to go back to monolids, the moment adhesions form, it becomes impossible. Instead, I think making a really thin inner double eyelid so it looks like a monolid is probably the way to get closest to how it was before. Don’t do things like adhesion release; get surgery to lower the line. Other than that, it’s a path to ruining your eyes more.
