<Before surgery photo><After photo><After photo>Hello I recently had revision rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage at Lowell Plastic Surgery!! After my first surgery, the line was decent enough, but my nose was very deviated to the right, making it so uncomfortable to breathe, and my bulbous nose wasn’t corrected either. I was scared to get revision surgery, so I just lived with it, and then the cartilage protruding on the right side of my nose became visible to the naked eye. I don’t know how many years I spent just thinking about nose surgery because of this… I finally made up my mind and went ahead with it. The reason I chose Lowell was that I thought a private clinic would provide more delicate care than a large hospital. During the consultation, Director Kim Jae-woon pinpointed my concerns accurately, and instead of simply saying, “I’ll make it pretty,” he explained specifically what process he would use to correct my deviated nose and bulbous nose, which made me trust him. And the cost was reasonable too! I really liked that they just did everything without any extra charges After surgery, the protruding nasal cartilage was corrected, and even the bulbous nose was improved, so everyone says my face looks more refined haha. Honestly, I heard bulbous nose correction is the hardest, so I wondered if it would be possible, but now I’m so satisfied that I even feel confident when taking photos~~!! At large hospitals, it felt normal for the director to see you for 1 or 2 minutes and then rush out because they were busy, but here, every time I went for follow-up, the director personally took care of everything from the taping method to small details. It made me think that even if I get another surgery, I’ll definitely go to a private clinic,, And it’s great that they also do laser treatment for the scar at the cartilage harvest site!! When I saw friends around me who had autologous costal cartilage surgery, they seemed to have more pain at the costal cartilage harvest site, so I was worried because I had to go to work, but since it was a minimal incision, it only hurt for about two days, and I was fine enough to leave work carrying a Spam gift set! Seeing me carry that, everyone worried and asked if my rib was okay, but I had no pain at all lol lol Recovery was much faster than I expected, and the aftercare has been meticulous, so I’m still recovering without any major discomfort haha Experience matters most for revision surgery, you know. For those who don’t want their first surgery to fail, and those getting revision surgery, if you do it at Lowell, you won’t regret it:-)
