This is my review 5 years after getting LASEK. My eyes were really bad, so LASEK was my only option. They were so bad that they had to ablate a lot, so I could only have it done once. It was my first surgery, and my original vision was around -7, but now both eyes are 1.2. Aside from my eyes being dry sometimes, I really think I did well getting it. About 36 hours after surgery are hell, but if I had to do it again, I would. It’s that convenient, and these days I feel like you’d be foolish not to do it. I’m so happy that my glasses don’t have to fog up anymore. Really, if you’re thinking about LASEK, I really recommend doing it right away.
