It was the first plastic surgery I had ever had in my life, and thanks to getting a lot of information from this community, I’m living satisfied without complications. What I got was ptosis correction and canthoplasty. (What people usually know as ptosis correction for monolids) You can think of my eyes as the typical Korean eye shape: sharp-looking, sleepy-looking, and narrow in width. I wanted to keep my original monolid eye shape but make my eyes overall clearer and more open-looking, like Seo Kang-joon, for example? The ptosis correction improved my blepharoptosis, and for the horizontal width, I opened the front and back as much as possible within a safe range. First of all, the part I’m most satisfied with is that my eyes open clearly even without putting force into my forehead, and I sincerely recommend canthoplasty to men too. The canthoplasties I got were diagonal canthoplasty and dual canthoplasty, and my eyes really became softer and more open-looking, so I’m extremely satisfied.
Until one month after surgery, my biggest worries were the unwanted double eyelid line and the redness of the surgical area, so I was most worried about scarring, and the swelling and redness completely went down after 3 months.
If I had to say the only disappointing thing, it would just be my mistaken belief that I would become Seo Kang-joon..
