I had nose surgery in early November, had silicone inserted and used ear cartilage. On the day the splint was removed, the swelling was severe, so they thought it might be a blood collection and opened it up, and found inflammation.. So they said they only removed the silicone and closed it. Then another week later, on the day the bandage was removed, the swelling still hadn’t gone down, so they said we should remove even the remaining cartilage They opened it again and did irrigation surgery.. Now my nose is upturned and, because of scar tissue, it’s bumpy.. If it turns upward, is that all contracture? It became like this right after surgery, so I’m really distressed...
