As of today, it has been 18 days since I had nasal tip surgery using ear cartilage, and I think it’s true that I developed hypertrophic rhinitis after the surgery. Before the nose surgery, my nose was healthy.. I only had allergic rhinitis, and as long as I didn’t have a cold or wasn’t in an allergy-triggering environment, I didn’t even have nasal congestion. But after the nose surgery, I developed rhinitis lol. Even though they say the nasal mucous membrane swells after nose surgery, I feel like this will still be the same even after time passes. My inferior turbinates are very swollen, so my nose either gets blocked alternately on each side or stays continuously blocked. I developed hypertrophic rhinitis. If anyone around me is considering nose surgery, I will absolutely talk them out of it. If it’s because of appearance, please don’t get nose surgery... I don’t know if it’s for a functional problem, though. I want to go back to myself right before plastic surgery and scream at myself to build my self-esteem instead. Please build your self-esteem
