Hello, I’m Kkeungkkeungi, who has been writing quite a lot of posts lately? Since I’ve been posting bits and pieces instead of in order, things are not organized, so I’m going to write them again in sequence.
In early March 2017, I had nasal tip cartilage surgery at ㄱㅈㅎ Plastic Surgery in Apgujeong. My columella was a little droopy, and I just wanted the columella raised a bitㅠㅠ But they said they would raise the columella and do nasal tip tying or something, and I think the surgery fee was 2 million won.. They used ear cartilage for my nasal tip, but the difference from my nasal bridge was too much (only the tip stuck out and looked pointy), and I ended up with a hump nose and arrow-shaped nose, so I seriously wanted to die.. But the clinic only told me to wait, and the consultant said something like the surgery went well.. Everyone was saying my nose was ruined, but the consultant said it was good, which really annoyed me.. So I kept waiting, but I really couldn’t take it anymore, so when I called in November asking for revision surgery, they wouldn’t even answer, and I strongly felt like they were avoiding contact. They said they would contact me later to set an appointment, but they didn’t, and eventually I had revision surgery, but they were so curt. During the consultation, the doctor also asked what the problem was, and it was obvious he was slightly unhappy. I paid 300,000 won for anesthesia, and they took more ear cartilage to operate because they said they would raise the droopy nasal tip.
After I had that surgery, they just placed ear cartilage on top, and my nasal tip became even more added-on than the first surgery, like a witch’s nose... To the point where I wondered if this was really a plastic surgery clinic. Looking at reviews, there were many other people whose results came out pretty and well, so why did they make my nose like this... I blamed myself for being careless without enough information, and while looking into clinics to remove it, I decided to have removal at ㄱㅇㅅ in March 2018. I had it removed with closed surgery under sedation anesthesia (all the surgeries above were open surgery). They said there was a lot of scar tissue, so they would remove a bit of scar tissue as well. I just lay there, woke up from anesthesia, and came home. My nasal tip did not become as low as my original nose, but overall I was satisfied, and above all I felt so relieved and happy that everything was taken out. At the final follow-up, I told the director that my nasal tip felt a bit swollen, and he said it was because of scar tissue and that time would resolve it~ But the problem is that on the 1st, I got one injection at the scar-tissue clinic, and, like a lie, all the swelling on my nasal dorsum went down. The part protruding inside my nose like ) is still there thoughㅠ I got it about twice, and once the swelling went down, I could see a lump? on the left nasal tip that might be scar tissue or cartilage. I made an appointment at ㄱㅇㅅ and visited, and when I asked the director, he said the chance that cartilage remained was about 20%, or otherwise remaining cartilage or something like that seemed to be tangled together with scar tissue. I had been worried because there were many reviews saying this clinic’s aftercare was not good, but contrary to what I expected, he carefully palpated it while consulting with me, which was nice. After talking like that, he said to come back in about 2 months. I came home, but over the weekend it kept bothering me, and the little lump seemed to stand out more, so I just scheduled a revision surgery date at ㄱㅇㅅㅠㅠ I have a gut feeling, and somehow I don’t think it is just simple scar tissue. Everywhere else is soft, but only this spot is round and hard, which doesn’t make senseㅠㅠ I really want to stop now, but it bothers me so much and I just keep sighing. Why did I touch a perfectly fine nose in the beginning and waste money and time like thisㅠㅠ I scheduled the revision surgery for the last week, and there is no cost. It will be done under local anesthesia, but does local anesthesia hurt a lot...? I’ve never had local anesthesiaㅠㅠㅠ If anyone knows, please leave a comment. The photo is my current nose. The red part is the lump suspected to be cartilage or scar tissue.
