Under-eye fat was hereditary for me. My mom had it done first, and maybe because her under-eyes looked brighter, she looked younger and cleaner in photos.
One day, I went because I wanted to try aegyo-sal filler, but they said fat repositioning should come first, so I became interested from then on and started looking into it. I’m not really the type to do a lot of legwork or online research, so I think I chose after looking at the Goodoc app.
Famous clinics were quoting around 2 million won.. so of course the late-400,000 won range on Goodoc could be tempting. I went to the cheap clinic’s website and looked for reviews, and thought, oh, this looks good? Yes, stupid stupid. Such a fool. I decided to do it while my husband was away on a business trip, went for a consultation, and since I had a slight ptosis, I also got a consultation for non-incisional eye shape correction while I was there.
I had buried double eyelids from 8 years ago, so they said they would proceed without a separate double-eyelid surgery.
Conclusion. Immediately after surgery, from the recovery room, I had diplopia. They said one under-eye had a lot of bleeding and was very swollen because of that. They told me to wait and see. It gradually became strabismus. I lived wearing an eye patch. The ophthalmology clinic said if it was still like that after two weeks, I should go to a university hospital. Only after about a month did the diplopia return to normal. I was anxious every day, holding my baby while going to hospitals so many times.. After about two months, it became normal. The under-eye area that had a lot of bleeding eventually became hollow. Later, another clinic even recommended filler for that area.. I just sighed.
Non-incisional eye shape correction. Failed, There was no big difference. Rather, because they worked by making punctures along the buried line, the buried double eyelid that had held up easily for 6 years.. eventually came undone.
