When harvesting autologous costal cartilage, is the site different at each hospital??? I think the area a bit higher up is firm, so I’m curious. Oh, and I heard that as you get older, it can become calcified and there may be cases where they can’t harvest it. Does anyone have experience with this? When getting nose surgery with autologous costal cartilage, they’ll take a CT and then harvest it, right?? I’m just curious.
