I have a low glabella and a baby-like nose with a drooping columella. I got fillers for years, then dissolved them, got them again, and kept repeating it, but I just couldn't keep doing that anymore. Since it's my first surgery, I went around to 7 places for consultations.. It felt like I was getting further and further from finding an answer. The last hospital I went to was Louvre, and when everyone says that while getting nose consultations, there are places where you just get a feeling, I thought, wow, that really is true.
I had to wait an hour and a half, so I was kind of annoyed, and the noses of the patients who came in for follow-ups were so flashy + totally “I got my nose done,” so I quietly started to give up on it. I was about to just make an appointment for next time, cancel the consultation, and leave, but the consultant coordinated things well, so after waiting another 10-15 minutes, I was able to see the director..!
It's my first nose surgery, and who thinks about revision surgery from the start? So I'd heard that if you get greedy, side effects can happen, so my default request was that I was looking for someone who could make it as natural as possible while properly correcting only the drooping nasal tip. Somewhere between natural and naturally glamorous? That kind of feel. Almost every hospital said to put in 2-3 mm silicone and use septal cartilage/ear cartilage for the tip, and here too they recommended silicone + septal cartilage. Louvre is famous for being good with costal cartilage, right? But I didn't want to use costal cartilage and add a scar on my body, surgery cost, and time. But even before I expressed my opinion, after I showed the nose shape I wanted and celebrity photos, they said it would be possible with septal cartilage.
They said my septal cartilage isn't extremely abundant, but it isn't soft and flimsy, so if it's insufficient, we decided to use ear cartilage together. It seemed like the director was trying to use only the parts that were exactly needed and maximize the result. The explanation was the most detailed, and I felt their understanding was high too.. Most of all, since I wanted a naturally glamorous look, I thought it matched Louvre's nose style well. The consultant also said their clinic is famous for flashy noses, but they're actually really good at natural-looking results too, and that I had come after looking carefully. They said my nose would easily become pretty with just a slight correction.. so I got tempted
Usually people go here a lot for flashy results, right?? Looking at the reviews, that seems to be the case, but I trusted the naturally well-done cases among them and set a surgery date. Luckily, I'm having surgery at the end of this month^^ I'll dissolve the filler soon, and a week later I'll be right on the operating table haha. If it goes well, I'll post a review
