After<week 3>After<week 2>After<week 3>It’s been 3 weeks since surgery. I had silicone for the nasal bridge and autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip, and my original natural nose had no bridge and was short with a slightly upturned feel.
By around week 3, the autologous costal cartilage site is no longer uncomfortable, and I’m just managing the scar. I still feel my nose pulling when I apply lip balm, and it’s hard. I do get boogers often, but if I just put saline on a cotton swab and wipe it roughly, it’s fine.
During the first week, my nose looked too upturned and the Pinocchio-like feeling was strong, but as I entered week 2, the major swelling gradually went down, so I think it’s getting a bit better. Still, I wish the nasal tip would become a bit slimmer and come down more. Even with autologous costal cartilage, will it come down into a straight-to-slightly-curved shape?ㅠ My nasal tip still feels tight and swollen. About how long does it take to go down..
What do you think of my nose shape? Please let me know whether the nasal tip can come down more even with autologous costal cartilage.
