In my early 20s, having plump cheeks was popular. So I got those plumping injections very plump. And when I reached my early 30s, along with the excessively resected bone, sagging from the plumping injections started to come too. ㅠㅠ At an age when even my own face would naturally start to droop (with less bone to support it because of the resected bone), adding the plumping injections led to severe sagging.
So I decided to remove the plumping and went to many consultations at places said to be good at liposuction.
I went to hospitals specializing in foreign-body removal and also hospitals famous for facial liposuction. First, after consulting doctors with a deep understanding of all the layers between fat and bone, I felt that their explanations were a little different. So I referred a lot to the explanation from a doctor who came from a fat-specialized hospital.
Among them, I think I looked for a doctor who specialized in fat and had a lot of experience removing fat from thin layers like the face.
Of course, under-eye fat or extremely delicate areas may be different again. I thought I had a lot of fat in my cheeks. So I think the procedure was done well somewhere in the middle.
They said it would be difficult to remove it in perfect symmetry, but I think they removed it relatively well, so I'm sharing.
It was a hospital in Apgujeong, and I didn't worry about the price. Since it is such an important area... I had it done at a mid-range price.
On the day of the procedure, I was definitely swollen and puffy, and I think the swelling lasted about ten days. There were many hospitals saying you can return to daily life right away, but is that... really true? I don't think that would happen.
If you have to go to work, it is possible to have surgery on Friday and go to work on Monday, but you'll probably feel a bit embarrassed ^^ It's okay to walk around wearing a mask, and from day 4 it went down steadily. Fortunately, the doctor had done many of these procedures, so there was almost no bruising.
The cost was 1.2 million won, and I think facial liposuction is definitely better if you do it with a doctor who is good at it.
Currently, I am worried about sagging, but... it seems the fat layer was removed relatively evenly.
(They said the nasolabial fold area and the very front cheek needed more fat removal, but I haven't done that yet.) This is a review of suctioning out the very large amount of fat in the side-cheek area. ^^
