About 10 years ago, I had a Bayco procedure in Gangnam, Seoul. It was a procedure where threads were inserted into the nose to raise the bridge, and it was popular at the time, plus they said it would not show much, so I was tempted and had it done. But then... about 2 or 3 years ago, inflammation started to develop little by little in the middle of my nose. At first I brushed it off, thinking it was just acne, but recently the inflammation kept getting bigger, and when I touched it, I could feel something like wire It turned out to be the thread inserted 10 years ago. The clinic where I had the procedure was gone, and I felt completely lost, so I searched the internet and found a review from someone who had also had Bayco at Bom Bam Plastic Surgery, removed the thread, and then had autologous dermis inserted. I contacted the hospital right away and made a consultation appointment, and after the director looked at my nose and said it was serious, we scheduled surgery immediately. (If it had been any later, necrosis could have happened) First, I had to have surgery to remove the thread inside the nose. The operation was not long, but because the thread had been placed in such a messy way, I did feel a bit of pain even though I was under anesthesia. After the surgery, I took painkillers, so there was no pain. Seeing my lowered bridge made me feel unsettled, and my nose shape was such that I really could not avoid having autologous dermis surgery They said whether I could proceed with the second autologous dermis surgery would depend on the first surgery's progress, but fortunately the first surgery went well, so I was able to have the second surgery just 3 days later! The second surgery took about 3 hours in total: buttock autologous dermis harvest (1 hour) + nose surgery (1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours). Maybe because the first surgery hurt, the second one really did not hurt at all My butt also only had the inconvenience of needing to sit and stand up carefully because of the posture; there was no pain at all! Four days after all the stitches were removed, I went back to work, and maybe because the swelling went down quickly and the wounds healed fast, nobody noticed.. Ah, I did get told I looked prettier a lot! (I felt again how amazing the director's surgical skill is..!) My butt still has a little discomfort, so I am moving carefully, but other than sitting and standing up, I am able to live normally now! More than anything, I am so, so happy that the dirty(?) thread was removed from my nose, and I feel so reassured that the bridge was raised with autologous dermis, so I am living happily day by day The middle of my nose, where the thread had protruded, is still being treated for scarring, but it has improved enough to be covered with makeup. I am truly grateful to the director, the coordinator, and all the nurses who made me such a pretty new nose!! If you, like me, have Bayco or other complications, I strongly recommend going to Suwon Bom Bam Plastic Surgery as soon as possible for revision surgery!
