I had incisional double eyelid surgery as my first surgery, and one line looks like it’s swollen, so my eyes look uneven It’s not too bad when I look straight ahead, but from the side or when I slightly lift my chin, the difference is almost double. I wonder if my eyes are difficult or unusual… When I went for a follow-up and asked the doctor, he just gave vague answers.. I want to know the cause. When I asked, “Is it because of my eye-opening strength or my skin/tissue characteristics?” he said, “That could be it, and there are several possible issues,” so I asked, “Then when you first designed the line, were you unable to make it symmetrical?” Then he got furious and asked if I thought he was someone who would ruin it on purpose. So I asked, then is it because of my skin/tissue characteristics? But again, he didn’t tell me the exact cause and just kept repeating the same thing. + He only says that because it’s not a machine, exact symmetry can’t be achieved… There’s almost a twofold difference from other angles, but he says those angles aren’t necessary, that looking straight ahead is what matters, and eyebrow strength is important too, just changing the subject like that.. I don’t know whether the doctor doesn’t know the cause or what. It makes me wonder if my eyes are difficult. Anyway, the hospital also acknowledged the asymmetry, and they said they’ll do revision surgery on one eye. But I’m wondering if it’s okay to get aftercare/revision at the hospital that failed to match the symmetry and made my eyes noticeably uneven Should I just pay more and get revision surgery at another hospital?
