Review on Day 6 After 3-Part Facial Contouring

*Review On the first day, it was uncomfortable to breathe because of aftereffects from general anesthesia (coughing, bloody sputum, nasal congestion), and around dawn, the jaw below my ears and my chin hurt a lot. Even after adding more painkillers, it was really painful and difficultㅜ The swelling peaked on day 3 to the point where I wondered if it might burst, and the pain was so severe once the pain medication wore off that I could barely swallow food.. After asking the hospital, I also took Tylenol additionally. Starting from day 4, things began to improve a lot. The throat pain and bloody sputum decreased, and for the first time I took off the compression band and took a shower. From then on, the swelling also started going down noticeably, but instead, the bruising on my face gradually turned into blood bruises. (They say bruising varies by person, but I’m originally the type who bruises easily.) Currently, the swelling around my eyes and side cheekbones has gone down a lot, so my eyes are back to their original size, but the swelling in my cheeks and lips is still very puffy. The jaw pain has also decreased to just a slight stiff soreness.

From day 4, when my body felt a bit better, I walked around the house diligently and made an effort to move a lot on purpose, and on day 5, I intentionally went outside and walked for about 2 hours. Personally, I think walking and showering helped a lot with reducing the swelling. The hospital told me to keep wearing the compression band until one week except when eating and gargling, so I’m trying my best to wear it as much as possible. Some people said their scalp hurt, but my scalp hasn’t had any damage at all.
