7-Month Review After Cheekbone Surgery

I had it done in Apgujeong. On the first day after cheekbone surgery, the pain felt like, “Bwaaaaaaagh, from today on, your bones should all shatterrrrr.” After getting one painkiller shot, I was okay, but because of the anesthetic, I threw up the whole way home. The pain was painful too, but the anesthetic definitely played a part. On day three? I ate pizza and chicken, minced up, and ate all kinds of things. The swelling spread horizontally until around days 2-3. I thought I was Curry Bread Man lololololololol After that, it gradually went down, so from day 4 I went to work and took walks outside. I even went grocery shopping at the supermarket lololololol But cheek hollowing. Indian lines. I think those lasted until around 3-4 months. The cheek hollowing. Every time I opened my mouth, near the cheekbone there was something like a dimple? It was reeeeally deeply indented, like someone had carved it with a knife. I got angry when people said time was the cure, but after time really passed, for me it got so much better, almost completely okay. Of course, that cheekbone-area dimple-like thing still appears a little when I open my mouth wiiiide or smile. Sigh... I’ve given up on this. I guess there’s nothing I can do. But if I touch only one cheekbone with my hand, I can feel the cut surface. Does that mean there’s a gap in the middle? Anyway, since I can feel it... I’m anxious and want to ask them to take a CT, but even if they take one, they said the director only checks follow-ups on Wednesdays lololol I’m coming from outside Seoul, so I can’t even match that day lolololol Because it’s far, I only went twice for follow-ups, and each time they didn’t take a CT. I also had double eyelid surgery at the same time. One side of that double eyelid surgery also went wrong, so in the end I’m going back to have only one side revised. It’s so frustrating.
