As the title says, I had double eyelid surgery by partial incision without canthoplasty at ㅇㅅ in Dongseong-ro, Daegu, 7 years ago.
Ha.. It was 7 years ago, so I was desperate just to get away from double eyelid glue, and I didn’t visit many places for consultations. I had the surgery in my second year of high school, but it wasn’t the famous doctor ㅇㅊㅎ that everyone knows; it was someone else. I scheduled the surgery during summer vacation, but doctor ㅇㅊㅎ was fully booked, so I hurriedly booked with a doctor who had no appointments and got it done. Back then, I remember there were only two line options, inline/out-line, and after some time had passed after my surgery, something called an in-out line came out. I was young, so I didn’t care about inline, out-line, or what canthoplasty was; I just thought it would be nice to have double eyelids. They wouldn’t do epicanthoplasty because they said the distance between my eyes was narrow, and they wouldn’t do lateral canthoplasty because I was young, so I only got partial incision with an inline crease. And during the surgery, they suddenly said my right eye had weak opening strength and that I needed ptosis correction, saying this normally costs money but they would do it for free, and then did it;; Thinking about it now, that part is kind of absurd.. Even after the surgery, they kept scolding me, saying my eyes would get smaller if I gained weight, so I shouldn’t gain weight. Um haha;;?
In the end, then and now, it’s just like one line appeared on my eyes~! And when I lower my eyes, the line is so clear that even now, 7 years later, people seeing me for the first time always ask if I had double eyelid surgery~ Still, I’m a positive person, so I lived 7 years thinking, well, if I had surgery, of course it’s bound to show.. haha Now I want revision surgery because of the double eyelid surgery line that shows when I look down. I also want to change the line to an in-out line.. I’ll only know after consultations though ㅠ Um, and when I had my double eyelid surgery 7 years ago, my friend had double eyelid surgery with Director ㅇㅊㅎ around that time, and she said that after sleep anesthesia, she woke up and the surgery was already finished. But for me, they gave me sleep anesthesia and local anesthesia, and when I woke up, they started the surgery from then and kept telling me to sit up and look at the smile sticker stuck on the window in front of me. I wonder if the doctor who operated on me did that because they lacked experience and wanted to do the surgery while checking the line, or what.
Anyway, thank you for reading this long post haha *bow*
