Before entering university, I had double eyelid surgery with an outline crease (I was originally going to get epicanthoplasty too, but during surgery the doctor said, “This won’t work,” and made the incision from the front of the eye as an outline crease, so they said they did it from the front instead of epicanthoplasty.. Then 6 months later, I had correction for uneven double eyelids.. (same clinic) Up until then, the line at the front of my eyes was thin and the back was thick. Then about 10 years later, while going on arranged dates, I later heard a lot from men that my eyes looked sharp, and my mom made such a fuss saying it would be better to get surgery again that after some arguing, I had surgery again. After that, I got married and currently have 2 young children. After the third surgery, whenever I looked at my double eyelids, I often thought they looked awkward, and I went around drawing my eyeliner in a somewhat different way from others, thick from the front and thinner toward the back.. Recently, after seeing a friend whose eye surgery had gone badly get surgery again and improve, I started thinking that I wanted to do it again too. So I got consultations at three places. Two places said to do epicanthoplasty and double eyelid surgery, and one of those said to do ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty, and double eyelid surgery, saying I might end up with two lines.. Another place said I don’t need ptosis correction, and that a hook-shaped epicanthoplasty and double eyelid surgery would improve things a lot. The third place said that if I do epicanthoplasty, my impression could actually get worse, so I shouldn’t do it (because if I do epicanthoplasty, the lacrimal caruncle would show a lot). Since the front is thick, they said to do ptosis correction only at the front and do incisional double eyelid surgery only up to the middle. They said they would leave the inner corner alone, so the scar at the front wouldn’t get worse. Because I don’t have much extra skin, they might not be able to cut out all the scar tissue. They said if I lower the front line while doing ptosis correction, the thickness of the front double eyelid could become thinner. Honestly, the third doctor seemed to understand what I wanted well, so I was drawn to them.. but I’m worried, thinking what if it just gets worse for no reason, so I’m debating whether to just live with makeup. My eyesight is bad, so I also wear glasses. I attached photos so I can look at my eyes, hear other people’s opinions, and think about it more carefully.
