I had posterior canthoplasty 5 years ago. I didn’t really think it had closed back up, but my eyes were so small that I wanted the horizontal length to be longer, so I had posterior canthoplasty and outer-corner lowering. It’s day 4, and I don’t really have swelling or conjunctival edema, but the very end of my outer eye corner is slightly lifted away from the eyeball, so I’m extremely worried. Maybe it’s because it hasn’t been long since surgery, but when I searched online, there seemed to be many side effects, like not being able to smile with the eyes well and losing the aegyo-sal under-eye fullness.. There’s slight discomfort when I smile with my eyes, and maybe it’s just my imagination, but I feel like my aegyo-sal has shrunk a little too. What scares me the most is that the outer corner of my eye is slightly separated from the eyeball. Is it like this because it’s still swollen.. Compared with the first day, it has improved by about 50%, but it doesn’t seem like it will completely attach to the eye I’m so scared. My eyes definitely got bigger, and the outer corners did come down, but my eyes before weren’t that upturned or small; they were pretty eyes, so I’m so scared something might go wrong.
