Natural adhesion hurt, but eye correction felt like it hurt, too, I think halfway through the anesthesia wore off... Afterward, they managed the swelling with a laser, which was nice, and they also gave me eye packs and pumpkin juice, which was nice. When I had my stitches removed, they answered my questions, so they were kind!
