- [ ] Sinsa/Nonhyeon DB Plastic Surgery - 2.8 million / The desk staff were kind, and the consultant was kind too, but she seemed insincere. The consultant recommended the incision method, ptosis correction, and upper epicanthoplasty, saying 90% of people get them. I couldn’t meet the director, and since it was my first time, I didn’t know what was good or bad. After looking into other hospitals, I confirmed this one wasn’t great.
- [ ] Gangnam - B Plastic Surgery - 1.66 million / It was quiet, but they were fairly kind. Fat removal inside the ptosis correction/double-eyelid surgery was considered extra, so they just included it (no separate charge). Forehead Botox would be done during surgery. The consultation ended quickly and simply. Considering they charged a 10,000 won consultation fee, they didn’t really do anything. No explanation about the line, and they didn’t even hold up a line on my eyes. Surgery is done after sleep anesthesia, then local anesthesia while awake. Surgery takes 50 minutes. - OOT - 1.849 million / The consultant was kind, empathetic, and explained things well. While consulting about ptosis, they recommended not only double-eyelid surgery but also a forehead lift. They recommended a forehead lift if it becomes difficult to create double eyelids with age. As for canthoplasty, they said it was optional, and that an inner epicanthoplasty could be done to keep it natural. -> inline or inline-out line. Incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + fat removal. Later, Botox on one area as a service. Surgery around 3 hours. A 10,000 won penalty applies. 100,000 won reservation deposit. Sleep anesthesia. Just a check after the surgery ends. - SDRR - 1.54 million = 990,000 + 550,000 / The consultant and director were kind. I met the director and had the consultation. They recommended partial incision + ptosis correction. They explained the difference between incision and partial incision, and recommended partial incision. Surgery takes about 40-60 minutes under sleep anesthesia. They held the line around inline and outline, and confirmed inline looked better. There are no aftercare benefits after surgery, and they said simple eye surgeries get swelling injections, but the effect isn’t big. When I asked about Botox, they said they could add it during surgery if I wanted. But they didn’t recommend it. Then suddenly they looked at my eyebrow shape and told me what eyebrow shape would suit me. They have an anesthesiology specialist. Later, if a problem occurs due to their own mistake, AS is possible for up to 1 year.
- [ ] Yeoksam BNBG (BYJ) - At first they quoted 3.3 million, discounted to 2.2 million / Even though I had a reservation, I waited 1 hour. My appointment was at 11, but I had the consultation at 11:50. They call like crazy to check whether you’re coming after booking the consultation, but the wait time was like that, so I was annoyed. The consultation with the director was kind and okay. The price was absurd, and there were no postoperative benefits either. I only wasted time. The worst.
I’m thinking of getting it at OOT or SDRR, but only SDRR has an anesthesiology specialist... They say swelling management benefits for double-eyelid surgery don’t make a big difference, so should I just get it at SDRR?... I’m torn.
