I ended up finding out about places like this because of removing nasal silicone, and suddenly remembered the surgery I had, so I’m posting a surgery review. As you can tell from the preoperative photos, my malocclusion was extremely severe. My teeth were also in very poor condition, so I had to have more than ten teeth extracted before orthodontic treatment. I had 2 years of orthodontics before surgery and 1 year after surgery. I knew I was a difficult case, so I had both the orthodontics and surgery done at the same university hospital. At the time, the risks of double-jaw surgery were being talked about on broadcasts here and there, so even before surgery I got all kinds of worried and nosy calls from relatives. Still, back then I felt like even if I died, I would die on the operating table, so I just waited for the surgery day by day haha
In year 6, the hospital called me in for an interim checkup, so I had a CT scan and saw the doctor, and they said there was nothing seriously wrong. I have no problems at all with my jaw or those areas and am living well. They say your original base doesn’t change, and having surgery didn’t make me dramatically prettier, so I gradually fixed the rest as I lived. Don’t expect too much from surgery. The people who became prettier after fixing things were probably originally pretty ㅜㅠ
