Review of my first incisional double eyelid surgery (graphic photo warning) (Day 4)

I recklessly went ahead and got my eyes and nose done at the same time... lol

I originally had double eyelids, but over time the double eyelid creases gradually drooped + multiple creases formed + I started wanting canthoplasty (this was the biggest reason), so I decided to get surgery. I asked for it to be as thin and natural as possible, so we decided on setting the line at 5 mm! Incisional double eyelid surgery + fat repositioning (removing the hollowed areas) + lateral lower canthoplasty (they said if I got epicanthoplasty, I’d look like Shin Dong-yup) + ptosis correction (they said it makes the strength of opening my eyes more defined?) Altogether, I think it came out to around 2.4 million won...

The photos are before surgery - day of surgery - day 1 - day 2 - day 3 - day 4...

ps: I have a blind date in the second week after surgery... Do you think the swelling will go down by then and the redness can be covered with makeup?ㅠㅠ

Day of surgery: I looked incredibly ugly, my eyes hurt, and I regretted it so much, wondering why I did this... On top of that, there were tons of precautions I hadn’t heard before surgery!! (Basically, no face washing + no hair washing for a week)

Day 1 after surgery: My eyes hurt so much and the swelling was at its peak....... I developed conjunctival edema, so my eyes turned bright red, which was really scary, and I stayed shut in

Day 2 after surgery: Still... the swelling actually seemed even worse, but I got used to how ugly I looked. The conjunctival edema is still there...

Day 3 after surgery: The swelling started to go down!! As the swelling above my eyes went down into my cheeks, my face shape changed like Doolyㅠㅠㅠ But... now I’m slowly able to see what kind of line design was made

Day 4 after surgery: I went to the clinic to have the cotton removed from my nose. They said it’s normal for the swelling to move downward, and that at this level, the progress is good. I don’t exactly trust it, but... if I keep diligently applying warm/cold compresses, I think my eyes will turn out okay haha
