As someone who has finally crossed the point of no return called facial contouring, I’m going to write a few words.
First of all, the 2 hours after surgery are the critical point. I’ve gone through all kinds of mental suffering in my life, but this was the first time I experienced physical pain this distressingㅠㅠ I think only people who have experienced it will understand. For those trying facial contouring for the first time, the pain may feel vague in your mind, but the pain on that first day will be on a completely different level from any pain you’ve experienced in life so far. I think it may be better to go into it without knowing.. haha
During those 2 hours, my mind was full of thoughts like, ‘I must have been crazy, why did I have surgery under general anesthesia?’ I even resolved, ‘I’ll never do this again’.. but.. today is day 7, and that memory already feels distant lol There’s no choice but to endure it, thinking this too shall passㅠㅠ
I think my surgery belongs to the category of cases that went smoothly. Honestly, maybe because of swelling, I look not much different from before surgery, so I’m a bit worriedㅠㅠ I saw the director today, and they said it would take about 2 more months for the shape to appear. Since the chin area still feels firm, I wondered if the swelling had almost all gone down, but it seems that bone-like firm area is also swelling.. haha I’m going to watch it with patience.
I also received care today, and they massage the face to promote blood circulation. There were still parts of the surgical area that hurt, so it was a bit painfulㅠㅠ I thought I wished they would stop kneading my face. But after receiving it, I could clearly see that the swelling had gone down quite a bit, which was interesting lol Blood circulation really must be important. I’m going to work really hard on warm compresses and walks.
Oh, and as someone with experience, there’s something I finally realized.. In a community, reviews that are unconditionally positive are definitely suspicious.. lol The cutesy tone mixed with ‘yong,’ ‘neng,’ and ‘dang’ is also a bit suspicious.. Honestly, I don’t think cosmetic surgery is simply a positive and happy experience.. Maybe if it’s something like double eyelids or a simple procedure. But with a surgery like facial contouring that involves general anesthesia, once you’ve had it, there’s absolutely no way words like ‘yong,’ ‘neng,’ and ‘dang’ come out lol I think reviews that have a balance of good and bad points are the most trustworthy. I just wrote this down because I thought it might be good for reference.. haha
Then next week, after I get the stitches removed, I’ll write another review. That’s all.
