Eye Surgery Considerations

Gippeum Community Review

I had it done when I was extremely young, so at the time I didn’t know anything and didn’t even go back to the hospital even though it was botched. If it were now, I probably would have confronted them on the spot right after the surgery. Other hospitals at least lay a blanket underneath, but here the surgery was done on a cold, metal-like operating table. When the person next to the doctor, who seemed like someone learning, said they would hand over a certain suture, the director said it wasn’t needed and told them to give another one. The person who seemed to be learning next to them said that suture was too large to use on the face and would likely leave a severe scar, but they sutured my nostril wings with an extremely thick thread. I think I was 21. I had it done in the early days when almost only this place was promoting this surgery, but the result had no reduction effect and left me with a huge scar. Because it was local anesthesia, I could hear all the conversation, but being young, I didn’t say anything because I was afraid that if I spoke during surgery, it would get messed up. If it were now, I regret that I would have asked them to make sure no scar was left. Scars absolutely do not fade just because time passes. You need scar removal surgery. I didn’t know the name of this hospital, so every time I looked in the mirror I wondered where it was, but I saw what I had written on a memo and immediately wrote this review. Almost 10 years have passed, so I don’t know whether it has changed now, but this is a record-style review I’m writing for myself so I can recognize it, in case I unknowingly visit again.
