I was looking into philtrum surgery and chose 3 famous clinics, including Mano, based on my standards. I was debating whether to do philtrum reduction alone or both reduction and a shallow philtrum, and decided to get consultations at all three places first. At one of the two clinics besides Mano, they said they’d give a cheaper price if I agreed to take before-and-after photos, but by the end of the consultation they suddenly asked for more than 50 photos;; At another clinic, both the director and manager consultations were fine, but the price was just too brutal... At Mano, the manager consultation lasted longer than the director consultation, but during the director consultation they showed me review photos and said I might only need the shallow philtrum without reduction, which actually meant there wasn’t any extra procedure. I thought that if I was going to do it anyway, it would be better to go somewhere that doesn’t over-treat and leaves me without that uneasy feeling. There was only one chief director, so I wasn’t worried about proxy surgery, and there were many reviews saying the aftercare was excellent, so I trusted them and went ahead. Like the reviews said, their aftercare really does seem thorough and good.
