The eye shape was prettiest here too, so I had the surgery here.
After the first surgery (in-out double eyelid + epicanthoplasty + micro fat removal + ptosis correction) It ended up looking so much like a naturally single-lidded eye that it didn’t look like I had double eyelids at all~~ Because I had a faint double eyelid + fat, my eyes became heavy. I scheduled a second surgery in just two weeks?? The manager bragged that there’s no other place that will make you pay the full reoperation fee again like here and still act like they’re doing you a favor.
What happened during surgery was: “I’m trying to make you look pretty, but the patient has to listen. Can I make it pretty when you keep moving your eyes like this??” !!!! They kept saying not to blink, not to shake, and to stay still, but then complained, “Why aren’t you listening? Huh?” While saying that, they stopped, got angry, and the female assistants helping beside them also joined in and scolded me. They said, “If you don’t cooperate like this, it won’t turn out pretty!” I still have trauma from it.
After surgery, the asymmetry between the two eyes was obvious at a glance. The scar on the double-eyelid line was very uneven and severe. Especially the part where they operated to remove the Mongolian fold under the eyes during the canthoplasty had a bad scar, extending even to the center under the eye. When I went to another plastic surgery clinic, they said the Mongolian fold was still there anyway, and asked why they made a scar all the way here on a young person’s lower eye area like they had done lower blepharoplasty for someone in their 50s or 60s, and why they left surgical marks like that. That was the opinion I heard from more than 10 consultations at clinics in Seoul, excluding Daegu.
Ah!! Because sebum kept forming on the upper eyelid, and it kept feeling uncomfortable and like something was catching, I went back, but they said there was nothing there. Even when the stitches were removed after the first surgery, an assistant removed them. After the second surgery, an assistant also removed the stitches. Was it okay to just have the stitches removed under the doctor’s direction? Was there no need for the doctor to be there too?? haha Later, when I visited again, another assistant removed the one stitch that had still been left in place several months after the second surgery. They only removed what had been left behind at that point. Because there was a foreign body, the double-eyelid line kept feeling like something was stuck there, and sebum kept forming. It felt relieving. The school senior who had surgery with me at the same time also naturally had a second surgery, and is now living with asymmetrical eyes & sausage-like eyes.
