When I had the nose surgery, they said my nasolabial folds were worse than my nose and suggested putting implants in the nasolabial folds, so I did.
Two years ago, the implant protruded toward the upper gum area, so they cut off a little of that too and sutured it again.. Maybe because of this, in February this year my left cheek swelled up, and the silicone placed in the nasolabial fold was pressing down on my gum...
There was something catching with a clunk inside my nose, so I thought it was just a wound and went to an ENT clinic. They said it seemed like there was a wound inside the nose and the inflammation had spread upward.. I went to a local ENT clinic and got antibiotics prescribed.
Thinking it might be a surgical side effect, I visited the plastic surgery clinic the next day, but they said there was nothing wrong and said they would only prescribe antibiotics for a week, so I came back.. I took antibiotics for a month like that and got better,
but since a week ago, my left cheek has swollen again and there is a pus smell from inside my nose.. What's so frustrating right now is.. if I go back to that plastic surgery clinic, I feel like they'll just say nothing is wrong again and send me away..
I'm feeling so frustrated, wondering whether I should go to the ENT department at a large hospital, get imaging done, and have them cut inside to checkㅠㅠ
Inside my nose, in the middle where the septal bone(?) is, there is a round, pointed protrusion. What on earth this is, even the ENT doctor says they can't know unless they cut it open.. I'm so scared and frustratedㅠㅠ
