I had double eyelid surgery 8 years ago, and the swelling lasted almost 3 years, and the line wasn't smooth. Maybe they cut too much, because my eyebrows came down and the brow bone looked more prominent, and when I mentioned it they responded as if I should get a brow lift.. I was still in high school.... Well, time has passed so maybe they improved, but 8 years ago it was a surgical experience that only left scars.
