<This was a total disaster from a doctor from Korea University College of Medicine near Apgujeong Station. The lines on both eyes were bumpy ><Successful eye revision surgery at a celebrity plastic surgery clinic!! >I had eye and nose surgery in my early 20s at a “large plastic surgery clinic” designated by a singer’s agency, which was very famous online. And the result was... I was told by people around me that I had wasted my money (especially my mom). I wasn’t satisfied, but 10 years just flew by, and since I had aged, my eyes started to droop. And the most absurd thing was that the shape of my nose “changed completely into something like a pig nose, with contracture developing too,” so it became strange. My eyes and nose urgently needed aftercare/revision, and after breaking up with my boyfriend, feeling depressed, I decided to fix my droopy eyes first. I joined every plastic surgery cafe/app and observed very carefully, again and again, to choose a good plastic surgery clinic. I searched and searched for almost 2 months and had consultations at about 5 places. Telling myself I would absolutely not be fooled, I went to places with lots of before-and-after photos on cafes/apps. And this time, I wanted to go somewhere that wasn’t that big. At first, at the large plastic surgery clinic, I felt like I had come out of a factory, as if they were just mass-producing patients, and that’s why I ended up botched like this. And even though the first plastic surgeon was from the top medical school in Korea, it still turned into a total disaster.
This time, I didn’t go by rumors, just information from plastic surgery cafes/apps. The director recommended an incisional method because of my eye drooping, but I had seen 2 close friends get incisional double eyelid surgery (because of droopy eyes - because of their age) and end up completely botched, so I said I would absolutely never do it. So we proceeded by raising the line one level with the buried-suture method. The result was another complete disaster. The line was bumpy, my eyes looked distorted, and they made them look even worse than my original droopy before-eyes. Ridiculous. The director said it was because of my eye drooping and told me to pay another 1.5 million won and get an incisional surgery. I had already paid 1.2 million won for the buried-suture method, and I could no longer trust a doctor who couldn’t even do the buried-suture method properly. When I kept asking him to redo it as aftercare, the director’s attitude changed 180 degrees. Honestly, if I had followed my feelings then, I would have uploaded all the photos. I held back because of my mom. Seriously, this doctor is so active on plastic surgery apps/cafes. I wanted revision surgery, and it was possible after 6 months. During that time, I was misery itself. I started looking into hospitals again so I could get revision surgery quickly.
There is a very famous hair salon in Cheongdam-dong that I had been going to since I was 20, where many of Korea’s very top celebrities go. Since I’m really bad with my hands, I sometimes got makeup done by the salon director. And when I cried and appealed to the director, they told me about 2 plastic surgery clinics. They said many top actresses and top female idols get work done there. While getting expensive hair done, I persistently asked in detail who had gone to each of the 2 plastic surgery clinics. The moment I heard, I was shocked! Just like Cheongdam-dong hair salons, celebrities really all went to the same plastic surgery clinics. But why do their eyes all look different even though they went to the same doctor? For one place, they told me a top actress known for her acting and a famous female singer had their eyes done there, and for the other place, they endlessly listed about 20-30 top-top-top actresses, top-top-top male actors, top-top-top female idols, and top-top-top male idols. They also explained why there is a clustering phenomenon with celebrity plastic surgery clinics and celebrity hair salons. Most celebrities also get plastic surgery information from hair salon directors (or stylists), and the salon directors supposedly say things like, “This time XXX (a celebrity) got it done there and it came out well, so you should go there too,” to other celebrities. In a way, hair salon directors are just passing information to each other in that world. So, just like celebrity hair salons, there must be separate celebrity plastic surgery clinics. This was truly a plastic surgery hospital designated by major idol agencies. It was a plastic surgery clinic for top-top-top celebrities. Top celebrities who appear in major ads (soju, beauty, etc.) had all gotten work done here. And of course, I chose this place. But what was interesting was that both places the hair salon director told me about had no information at all on plastic surgery cafes/apps. So strange? Why? Why? But when I went to both of their webpages, there were tons of stories saying they had treated celebrities.
Anyway, I had my droopy eye surgery again there with the “buried-suture method” (just as I wanted~)! They say droopy eyes/droopy skin are much harder to operate on~! It was a total success! I understood why all the celebrities get it done here!! They are extremely meticulous, perfectionists!! They intentionally only do a few surgeries per day for the best results. Maybe that’s why it is just a little more expensive than other places, and the clinic is small and private. The interior is stylish and nice, but maybe because they only operate on a few people a day, the clinic is very private. I was so~~~ grateful I couldn’t express it in words~ When I think about crying every night for 5-6 months~ And because I was so grateful to the director, I decided I would spread the word widely. They saved me, so at least this much, with a grateful heart!! Also, when my eyes droop more in my 40s-50s, I’ll need incisional eye surgery, face/forehead lift, and things like that, so I want to keep a good relationship with this director (I heard that among celebrities, that director is famous for eye surgery, body & facial fat grafting/liposuction, lifting, forehead/face lifts, filler/Botox - I heard Korea’s publicly recognized top-top-top youthful-looking actress has also been getting lifting from the director continuously for about 7 years. The actress people say, “Why is only that actress not aging like that?”).
After my eye revision surgery, step by step I got (1.) forehead Botox (2.) face-slimming lifting (3.) facial volume filler (4.) lip filler. And I was shocked. Because it looked so luxurious.
At first, when checking the progress of my eyes, the director said I used my glabellar muscles too much and had wrinkles on my forehead, so I should get forehead Botox. I said I would absolutely never do it no matter what. I know very well that once wrinkles form, they don’t disappear, but I had tried forehead & glabellar Botox at dermatology/plastic surgery clinics in Cheongdam, Apgujeong, and Sinsa, and in the end I hated how they all (1.) “made my eyes smaller” and (2.) “made my forehead feel too heavy,” so I said I wouldn’t do it. But this director kept saying that happened because those places lacked technique, and told me to trust them and try it just once. And again, I was shocked! Wow! My eyes absolutely did not get smaller, and my forehead didn’t feel heavy!! And how can Botox be this natural and so luxurious~!! It smoothed my forehead wrinkles & glabellar lines and even lifted my forehead, almost like I had a forehead lift~!! Botox did that!! Wow~!! They use the same medication, so why are the results this different? Why~?? And a few months later, I got lifting. The hair salon director said the ultimate youthful-looking actress gets lifting here, so I was curious~ And again, shocked~ What on earth did you do to my face while I was asleep? My face became so much smaller and lifted, so I was shocked again!! They really are a master of plastic surgery!! Celebrity plastic surgery clinics really do exist separately~!! Until then, I had kept buying event deals and had Shurink, Ultherapy, Thermage, and skin Botox all done in Apgujeong, Sinsa, and Gangnam, so why is this so different?? And after a few more months, the filler I had gotten at a plastic surgery clinic in Sinsa-dong 2 years ago disappeared, and the sides of my cheeks became sunken, so I went to this director. As time passes, it really is endless maintenance work!! Maintaining beauty is truly hard!! The director told me to dissolve all the filler in my face and do fat grafting, saying it had been done at a place that was bad at filler and was bumpy (you should absolutely not get filler with a needle / you should get it with a cannula?! and the director’s skill is important). In the end, I dissolved all the filler in my face, and 2-3 weeks later, I got full-face filler again from the director. Shocked again~!! So natural and so luxurious~!!! Really, truly, I understood why it’s a celebrity plastic surgery clinic~!! While watching the drama Penthouse, I wondered why, between two actresses whose ages were not that far apart, one actress had luxurious facial volume, while the other actress clearly had facial volume too but looked unnatural. I was exactly like that. My face had volume, but it looked unnatural. And after seeing myself transform through the director’s hands into a natural and luxurious look like Lee Ji-ah, I was shocked again~!! I realized this is how important the director’s hand technique is! I came to know that this director is someone with the “manual skill to make everything look luxurious”~ haha For both plastic surgery and petite procedures, hand skill and manual technique are important~!! Really, as much as parents, I now think meeting a good doctor is extremely important for a woman’s entire life. Whether college admissions or hospitals, everything is an information battle~~ Personally, I want to be beautiful even in my 50s like Park Joo-mi, please~~
Since many people are asking about the price, I’ll just write it here. I paid 1.5 million won (buried-suture method) + 1 million won (revision surgery) = 2.5 million won. It has been around 200 days since the surgery. Many people are also asking about the other plastic surgery clinic the hair salon director told me about. I wrote this post because I’m so, so, so grateful to this director and wanted to let many people know. So even if you send me a private message, I won’t tell you about that other plastic surgery clinic. But really, for that other plastic surgery clinic, the hair salon director told me exactly 2 celebrities had it done there. One is a complete top actress known for her acting, and she is “not” someone who shoots CFs for her beauty. A total acting-focused actress in her 40s. The other female singer also doesn’t appear in CFs; she is someone with a certain level of fame. On the other hand, the people done by the director at the clinic I went to are truly people who need no explanation, actresses in their 20s-40s who only shoot beauty CFs, and there are so many of them. For girl groups too, both the current world top and the existing top have all done it there. This is real~ This is genuine information~ Because both my eyes were so bumpy like that, I felt depressed every single day and hated looking in the mirror in the morning (near Apgujeong Station). So I could somewhat understand the story about the 55-year-old woman who had eye surgery in Gangnam and died by suicide. I really think you have to be careful with eye surgery and especially nose surgery.
