One of the reasons I chose them was because they were conservative about surgery, which I liked. At other places, no matter what surgery it was, they were pushing osteotomy as if it were mandatory, but for my nose, which didn’t really need osteotomy, they recommended against it. The sides of my nasal bridge weren’t flat, and they said even if the line was already well defined, it wouldn’t change much.... But they did say that if they shaved down the hump, it might look a little lower from the front, so in both consultations I begged them and they agreed to do only a tiny bit of osteotomy Since it was the first surgery of my life, I was shaking as soon as I went into the operating room on the day of the surgery, but the nurses held my hand when they gave me anesthesia, praised me a lot, and I liked that The hospital atmosphere as a whole is warm! It’s not some sleek, Instagram-style, clean marble interior or anything like that,, but it’s warm...!
I once read in some post that swelling goes down over 1-2 months at the shortest, and up to 6 months at the longest, and that during that period people get so stressed because it looks so different from what they imagined that they end up booking revision surgery or early removal, and that if possible, on the day of surgery, after everything is done and right before the splint wait period (after everything is stitched up with sutures), you should ask the manager for photos in advance because that’s almost the same as how it looks after the swelling goes down (they said it’s not exactly the same because swelling also develops during surgery), so I asked the manager and she really did it for me Right now the swelling is at its peak, but I’m finding comfort in looking at the photo,,,, To be honest, by the time they were finishing all the sutures, I woke up from sedation and overheard the conversation between the manager and the director. They laughed, and I was like wow, they’re so kind,,,, and then I started talking,,,, that’s when the sleepy-anesthesia nonsense started... ^..^ I woke up from the sedation well, so I could drink water right away, and I forgot the medicine was strong and ate three spoonfuls of porridge before taking it, so I felt nauseous and threw up in the early morning It was Sunday and the hospital was closed, but I sent the manager a message and she even replied They really take aftercare seriously, which I appreciated!!
