Last Monday, I had an alar reduction together with facial contouring at ㅇㅇㅇ near Apgujeong Station. My alae had been a complex since I was young, so I had wanted to do it, but whenever I went for consultations because of alar reduction, almost every hospital recommended the nasal bridge and nasal tip too.. They said that if I only did alar reduction, the change wouldn’t be big. A few months ago, I was swayed, thinking, since I’m doing it anyway, it would be better to do it properly at once rather than not be satisfied and have surgery twice.. After that, my schedule didn’t work out, so I even placed a deposit at ㅇㅇㅇ and then cancelled, and this time, after leaving my job, I hurriedly set a surgery date. After thinking about it from time to time over several months, I realized that the nose I wanted was more small and cute than high and flashy, and since my face is on the long side, I thought that if my nasal bridge stayed low like now, my midface might at least look a bit shorter. So I decided to do only alar reduction. After the surgery ended, I looked in the mirror for the first time the next day.. and I wondered whether I had even had surgery ㅋㅋㅋㅋ There really was no difference. The nostril size seemed the same too. It just felt like the skin had been cut and then stitched back exactly as it was. It was very different from the feeling I had imagined while moving things this way and that with my hands. Flustered; Fortunately, after a few days, swelling that had barely seemed to exist went down, and I could see that the alar line had been refined. It’s a subtle difference, but I think it’s much better than reducing too much and looking awkward. I’m very satisfied now. Until deciding on the surgery, I wavered hundreds of times, but I’m glad I only did alar reduction without doing the nasal bridge or nasal tip. This got long because I thought there might be people like me who only want alar reduction but are hesitating after going around to consultations here and there~ I hope everyone makes a good choice without regrets!

Since this is not for promotional purposes, I’ll only post the hospital name as initials. I’m posting this in the hope that if there is anyone like my past self who is wavering because of hospital sales tactics, they might think it over one more time. Doing everything at once might make you prettier, but it also might not. Please think one more time about whether you have decided on unnecessary surgery that you didn’t actually want, and even if it takes time, I hope you don’t make a rushed choice~
