Eye Surgery Considerations

Doctorsmi community review

The director gets angry at patients. How they feel is none of my business, so I don’t know why they can’t get themselves together, lose their temper, and get angry at a patient. It’s not like I asked a question I shouldn’t have asked. The person called the consultant also did not speak or act with even the minimum sense of responsibility, and their behavior was very rude. Kindness? I don’t even expect that. At the very least, they shouldn’t be rude. They probably don’t even know they’re being rude. Listening to the way they spoke, it seemed like they take pride in their position. In conclusion, both the director and the consultant behaved far too rudely. And when I listed point by point things that anyone would agree were right, they got awkward and stammered in their answers, and they didn’t acknowledge a single fault on the hospital’s side. They either tried somehow to come up with excuses that didn’t even make sense, or stayed completely silent on disadvantageous questions. Watching that, I felt so sorry for them that it was almost pitiful. Maybe because it’s a local hospital and the biggest hospital in Daejeon, but in many ways it was my first time encountering a place like this, so it really left an impression. Not only in surgery, but in any field, I judged that they lack a certain level of expertise in that field and a certain level of humanity. They didn’t seem willing to listen and judge rationally, and only seemed busy trying to determine the patient’s fault. Thanks to that, I’m glad I didn’t have surgery here. If something had gone wrong for no reason and I had been treated like they didn’t know anything about it, I think that would have been even harder.
