It will soon be one year since I had square jaw surgery. Honestly, I had the surgery at age 20, and they left some angle. Since I only shaved the square jaw without doing any other areas, I secretly thought maybe there wouldn't be sagging, but whether it's sagging or something else, because the bone that used to be there is gone, my jawline disappeared. Still, it's much better than being boxy before surgery. Don't get the surgery just to become slim. If your thought is really like, "I'm truly square-jawed, please just let some of this bone be gone.." then you will be really satisfied! They left the angle naturally, and I had no pain or aftereffects at all. The director and all the staff are kind. This got long as I was writing, so I'll wrap it up here. I hope everyone with a square jaw escapes the square shape.
