5-month cheekbone surgery review

I only had cheekbone surgery, not square jaw surgery. My concern was that my face looked wide in a flat way. After surgery, my 45-degree cheekbones went in, so I can see that it looks reduced not only from the side but also from the front, so I’m satisfied. I was worried because swelling usually doesn’t go down easily for me, but I frequently wore the compression band and did warm compresses, and from around month 3 I also started doing light exercise, so it did go down. I found that doing it consistently is important. Honestly, until about months 1 to 2, near my right? temple and cheekbone area, there was a very faint ticking sound, maybe I should call it looseness, or they call it a leaf sound? Anyway, that kind of sound made me a bit anxious, but at month 3 I confirmed on CT that it was attached well (they said at that time it was almost about 70 to 80% attached), and now that sound doesn’t happen at all, so I’m okay now! Aside from the few difficult days right after surgery and having to be gentle when running or exercising, I don’t think there were any particular problems. As for opening my mouth, now I can even eat lettuce wraps, and I can eat almost everything within reason!! From now on, I think I just need to keep paying attention to swelling care.
