I had it done 8 years ago, back when the doctor was at a different clinic, not Boni. They went in with full incision, but it came undone after a year, so I had revision surgery with buried sutures. For the first surgery, they said the left eye wasn’t corrected enough because of bleeding, and it was definitely uneven. Now, 8 years later, the left side has come undone, and I’m scheduled for revision surgery at another clinic. During the first surgery, the anesthesia wore off in the middle, so I felt all the pain of being stitched with live tissue. It hurt so much that I was shaking and crying, and when the director asked why I was shaking, I said it was a physiological reaction. When they asked if I was on my period, I remember being completely dumbfounded. The good thing here was that there are no visible scars, so if I don’t say anything, people don’t know I had double eyelid surgery.
