I really deliberation-ed a lot because I wanted to do it in Gwangju if possible. It was a revision eye surgery, and the price wasn't cheap either. The director seemed either safety-oriented or not very experienced, because they said that even for revision surgery, the line size and fixing asymmetrical eyes couldn't be known until they opened it up. Since I wanted this to be my last surgery, I was being careful, but they were already telling me about possible side effects of eye correction as if they didn't want to take responsibility if something went wrong. I couldn't get any information about my eyes before the surgery, and I had the feeling that if something went wrong here, aftercare would be impossible. Going to Seoul for a consultation was a whole new world.. In the end, I had it done in Seoul. The price was the same if you include the travel cost to Seoul.
