Since people kept talking about lower eyelid fat repositioning, I wanted to get a consultation, but there was no convenient option like KakaoTalk consultation, so I booked by phone. I could already tell something felt off from the voice of the staff member who answered the phone. It became certain when I visited the hospital. I would say the subtle rudeness felt really strong...
This was a place I came to after already having consultations for lower eyelid fat repositioning at about two other clinics. There was no explanation at all of how the surgery would proceed. They said explaining it was hard anyway, and gave a strange analogy like, for example, if you go to a store that sells various fruits, I came to buy grapes, but they said it was like trying to sell apples, and that surgical methods are all explained and marketed differently by each plastic surgery clinic, which was an odd comparisonㅠ
(So how exactly do they perform the surgery here...)
Still, they kept looking directly at my face from different angles and also checking the shape when I smiled, and said things like fat grafting would be useless and that repositioning alone could make it pretty enough, so I did trust them somewhat regarding overtreatment, but they focused too much on how confident they were in the surgery, and there was far too little detailed explanation about the surgical method and aftercare.
At the end, I had a closing consultation with the manager, and I just sat for a moment on the chair where I had been waiting when I first entered the clinic, and they only told me the price and that sutures would be removed 3 days after surgery, and that was it. It felt too careless? They did not leave room for extra questions and seemed to rush me outㅠ
