1. First, some random talk Yes, it hurts 큐ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ When I saw people on YouTube saying the area where they removed ear cartilage hurt more, or that it did not hurt much, I thought, as expected, bone has no nerve cells so it does not hurt! But I got painkillers 4 times. I was admitted to the hospital, but there was nothing to do, so I am scribbling on my phone. I brought slime to play with, but I have no strength in my hands, so even touching my phone makes it shake..
At dawn, I held onto my mom and cried loudly, but I could feel my tears flowing, so I thought, ah, the sensation is alive, and cried on my own. Then I heard my mom say, now you are going to get prettier~ do not cry~ and I cried even moreㅠㅠㅠㅠ
2. Before surgery
During the design consultation with the doctor, I asked for a natural result. (The marker? The thing they draw on your face for the design really hurtㅋㅋㅋ My skin is weak, the type where writing shows on the skin, so the exact parts where the marker was drawn swelled upㅠ)
The doctor said that making it natural does not mean it will not show at all. Sometimes there are people who want it to look obvious, and they respect the patient's wishes. However, as you age, an obvious look gradually feels more unnatural, so if you want obvious surgery, you need to keep that in mind. 1) Naturally, like, huh? Your face got slimmer? 2) That is a line that could not come out without surgery. The doctor told me to choose one of the two, so I said number 1. As long as the before-and-after is clear, I like natural results! Then I held the doctor's hand, shouted fighting, and went in.
3. Right before surgery Before going in, they give some kind of sedative? After getting that, I started saying all kinds of nonsense. What I remember is saying, "Doctor, I feel like I am on drugs~".. so embarrassingㅠㅠ
Before the sedative, the anesthesiology director came in and asked whether I smoke or drink, how much alcohol I can handle, whether I go hiking, how much I exercise, and I confidently said, I do not exercise at all!..ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ When I said I go hiking, they asked how much, and when I said 20 minutes, they laughed and said that is not hiking, which helped me relax and felt nice.
Until I entered the operating room, I honestly was not nervous at all, so I thought, "As expected, I am brave!" But nope, I kept crying at dawn.
Anyway, my memory cuts off from lying on the operating table. I really have no memory. I kind of enjoy counting how many seconds I can last when anesthesia starts, so I was going to do it this time too, but from the moment they said, "Try breathing in slowly," my memory was just erased. They put me on a ventilator, but I do not remember whether they injected liquid, and I do not remember how they anesthetized me either.
5. After surgery
It was just the start of hell. From here on, I cannot say anything positive. It was so hard for me. They say everyone has a different pain threshold and pain varies from person to person, but I was rash to think I could tolerate most pain well.
They said, wake up! and I woke up, and I was lying in the hospital room. They did not particularly say I should not fall asleep (or maybe they did, but I do not remember), so I tried to sleep again. But I remembered a review where someone said they needed to blow out all the anesthetic gas, but they just slept and stayed dizzy for several days, so I kept my eyes closed and kept going hoo~ like that. Luckily, I was not dizzy, so I fell asleep again.
I woke up again, and it really felt like an elephant was sitting on my face, so I got painkillers several times and kept getting IV fluids. Apparently, because I kept sleeping and was not eating anything, they kept giving me IV fluids. Because the IV fluid was going in, I needed to pee, but urine would not come out. I was seriously so flustered. My bladder felt like it was about to burst, but urine would not come out, and I felt like I was going crazy.
The anesthesiology director came in and gave me some medicine that induces urination, but I do not remember the name. A few hours after getting it, I could urinate well. When I asked why, they said it can happen when the body is under too much stress.
Anyway, I slept and woke up, slept and woke up, and while removing the bandage, the director showed me a mirror and said the line is amazing. I was dying from pain, but I answered, ohh, yes! and fell asleep again. I woke up again and ate ice cream, but it hurt, so I forced it down and slept again. Then I woke up at night, and wow, it hurt so badly that I kept crying. My ears hurt too, and saliva and blood pooled inside my mouth, so I swallowed several times.
The doctor came in and said, tell me if it hurts, then grabbed my lip and pressed hard, so I screamed, aak!!ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅌ All the nerves are alive. Whew, I almost died.
Around 10 at night? I woke up again, and they gave me pumpkin porridge, so I tried to eat it, but I was so dizzy that I gave up midway. They gave me antibiotics, but I was dizzy, so I cried and fell asleep.
6. The next morning I kept waking up and sleeping, crying and sleeping, and around 6:30 a.m. they washed my hair, so I dried it myself. Um.. ah, removing the tape seriously hurt like crazy. There is nothing that does not hurt. I am going insane. Even now I begged for painkillers, and they gave me medicine, so I took it and still have not been discharged. They said I can be discharged after rush hour ends, so I am waiting for my dad.
‼️Anyway, conclusion
It hurts so freaking much.
