I can’t believe it’s already been over a month since my square-jaw surgery lol. Even at two weeks, I thought the swelling had gone down a lot more than expected, but it keeps dropping rapidly.
I think there’s still some swelling, but compared with the beginning, my lower-face line definitely feels much lighter. I’m especially satisfied that my face looks slimmer from the front, and I feel proud every time I look in the mirror.
I also had fat grafting to my forehead and front cheeks. At first I wondered if the volume was too much, but now that the swelling has gone down and the contours have settled, my face has regained dimension. I keep thinking, “I’m glad I did them together.” If I had only reduced my square jaw, I might not have been this satisfied..? lol
It has only been a little over a month, so I can’t say everything has fully settled yet, but so far I’m extremely satisfied!! For reference, I was very worried because I heard jaw shaving can look obvious if done poorly, but mine turned out natural and my overall image somehow feels more sophisticated lol. I’m really glad I had my jaw reduced.....
